Cosmetic treatments work best when they are planned together. Whitening changes how a veneer should be matched, and reshaping can sometimes make a veneer unnecessary.

That is why every treatment here begins with a consultation. Dr Evgeniou looks at your teeth, gums and bite, listens to what you want, and recommends the simplest route to it.

Smile design

Smile design is the process of planning a smile as a whole. Rather than treating one tooth at a time, the shade, shape, length and position of your teeth are considered together, along with your gums, lips and face.

It brings together treatments such as teeth whitening and reshaping, and can include veneers or other restorative work where they are the right answer.

Teeth whitening

Teeth gradually darken with age, coffee, tea, red wine and smoking. Professional whitening lifts the shade of natural teeth, and a dental assessment first makes sure it is suitable for you.

Whitening does not change existing fillings, crowns or veneers, so it is best planned before any of those are matched.

Teeth reshaping

Small changes can make a visible difference. Reshaping, sometimes called contouring, smooths or adjusts the edges and proportions of teeth that are slightly uneven, chipped or pointed.

It is a conservative option where only minor adjustment is needed, and it is often combined with whitening as part of a wider smile design.

Veneers

A veneer is a thin shell, made to match the natural shape of a tooth, that is bonded to its front surface. Veneers can change the colour, shape, length and apparent alignment of your teeth.

They are a lasting cosmetic solution for teeth that are stained, worn, chipped, gapped or uneven, and they are designed to look like natural enamel.

Dental implants

A dental implant replaces a missing tooth from the root up. A small titanium post is placed in the jaw and, once it has integrated with the bone, a crown is fitted on top.

Implants look and feel like natural teeth and do not rely on neighbouring teeth for support. Whether you are suited to an implant depends on your general health and the condition of your gums and jawbone, which is assessed at your consultation.
